NBA has released its latest official power rankings. The Cleveland Cavaliers have ascended to the top spot, the Golden State Warriors climb to second, the Oklahoma City Thunder hold strong at third, and the Los Angeles Lakers sit at number eight.
1. Cleveland Cavaliers (11-0, Last Week: 2)
• Offensive Rating: 122.0 (1st)
• Defensive Rating: 109.9 (9th)
• Net Rating: +12.1 (2nd)
• Pace: 100.5 (9th)
Despite facing some challenges last week, the Cavaliers remain the only undefeated team in the league and are the 12th team in NBA history to start a season 11-0.
2. Golden State Warriors (8-2, Last Week: 5)
• Offensive Rating: 119.2 (4th)
• Defensive Rating: 107.6 (3rd)
• Net Rating: +11.6 (3rd)
• Pace: 100.7 (8th)
Stephen Curry’s return is undoubtedly good news for the Warriors. They went 2-1 on their three-game road trip against the Celtics, Cavaliers, and Thunder.
3. Oklahoma City Thunder ( 8-2, Last Week: 1)
• Offensive Rating: 112.8 (14th)
• Defensive Rating: 100.3 (1st)
• Net Rating: +12.5 (1st)
• Pace: 102.6 (5th)
The Thunder are among the many teams dealing with injuries. Chet Holmgren suffered an injury against the Warriors and will be sidelined for at least two months.
