MANILA, Philippines – Kevin Quiambao has never been one to limit himself to one stage.

After winning a UAAP championship with the De La Salle Green Archers, the Filipino forward took his game overseas, making an immediate impression in the Korean Basketball League (KBL). He has also continued to represent the country as a member of Gilas Pilipinas.

Now, Quiambao is bringing that same competitive drive to a new partnership as the newest ambassador of ArenaPlus, the No. 1 PAGCOR-licensed online sportsbook in the Philippines.

For Quiambao, the partnership is another opportunity to connect with Filipino basketball fans who have followed his rise from collegiate basketball to the professional ranks.

“Sobrang saya ko maging part ng ArenaPlus family,” said Quiambao, who joins NBA legend Derrick Rose, PBA MVP Scottie Thompson, among others as ArenaPlus ambassadors.

“Alam naman natin kung gaano ka-passionate ang mga Pinoy sa basketball, and super excited ako sa bagong journey na ‘to. Hopefully, marami kaming ma-achieve together, on and off the court.”

Quiambao’s move to Korea has proven to be a defining step in his career. Playing for the Goyang Sono Skygunners, he delivered a breakout 2025-26 campaign that earned him KBL Rookie of the Year honors, making him the third Filipino player to receive the distinction.

The recognition added another milestone to a résumé that already includes a UAAP championship and Gilas stints. Each stop has presented a different challenge, giving Quiambao opportunities to grow his game against new competition while continuing to represent Filipino basketball.

ArenaPlus Head Ethan William, professionally known as Layson, said Quiambao’s willingness to take on new challenges makes him a valuable addition to the brand’s roster of sports ambassadors.

“Kevin represents the kind of determination and ambition that resonates with Filipino basketball fans,” Layson said.

“From winning a UAAP championship, to making waves in the KBL, to representing Gilas Pilipinas, he has continued to challenge himself at every stage of his career. We’re excited to welcome him to the ArenaPlus family and support him as he takes on his next challenge in Korea.”

“Kevin’s career shows what can happen when talent is matched by the willingness to keep learning and competing at a higher level,” said Layson.

With his professional career gaining momentum in Korea and his national team commitments keeping him connected to the Philippine basketball scene, Quiambao continues to build on the foundation he established at home.
